Re: Antonio
A couple of weeks ago, I said I wanted to keep him.
He doesn't look like a premiership level player now.
Somewhere like QPR is his level now.

Re: Antonio
Alex,
That is the old António.
The current António might run at the opposition defence but very rarely does it result in anything.
He doesn’t seem to make many runs these days let alone into unexpected places.
He was absolute dogshit today but what stunk more than his performance was a clearly shit attitude which suggests he just can’t be bothered to do any work for this team.

Re: Antonio
Kaiser - LOL

Antonio has never really recovered from whatever was ailing him during the latter part of last season.

Whether that is physical, mental, or both, only he knows...

Re: Antonio
I love Alex V nonsense, just when I’ve landed in the depths of dispair, along comes a bloke with absolutely no idea what he’s talking about

Re: Antonio
Quite amazing from being close to an England call up over a year ago to a shadow of the player he was.
Injuries have taken their toll. His positioning and mucking about under Bilic put paid to that. Played and came back too soon when he shouldn't have.
What we would give for the Antonio that made that right midfield position his own.

Re: Antonio
Take Antonio out of the side - who competes for the ball at restarts? Who actually runs at the defence? Who turns up in unexpected places? Who has the instinct to always get in the box?

Whether you think Antonio is good or not, nobody else in the current squad can do what he does for the team. He has to play - for me it's as simple as that.

"The change required is between his ears."

Precisely. Needs a brain transplant.

Re: Antonio
He thinks it's the club's fault he has lost his way.

He thinks if he were somewhere else the problem would vanish and he would be 'brilliant' again.

He won't. The change required is between his ears.

I agree, he looks like getting he'd rather be somewhere else

There’s about 54,000 people who also wish he was somewhere else

No confidence my arse, he's a fat, lazy, thick, fucking cunt. Dreadful player, and that ain't just about today.

I was amazed MP took Snodgrass off instead of him today.

Yes, that's right, Snodgrass.

A terrible footballer. No technique, no brain. Not sure where he was supposed to be playing today, but the bloke is a fat frank bruno
